About Us

OUR GOAL IS TO MAXIMIZE YOUR CLAIM PROMPTLY TAKING CARE OF ALL COMMUNICATIONS AND PAPERWORK

Your home is one of the largest investments of your life. When a loss occurs, it places you and your family in an unpredictable situation. Most homeowners do not know what their policy covers and how to obtain payment or even where to begin. An insurance company will commonly send a representative adjuster to offer you payment. In many cases these offers are 2 – 3 times less than the settlement that Horizon obtains. We make every effort to ensure that you receive the compensation to properly rebuild your home. In addition, we also help you through the Additional Living Expense coverage of the policy. If you do not have a claim at this time, we will analyze your policy. Our team at Horizon has represented thousands of customers and produced thousands of claims exceeding their expectations.

THE CLAIM PROCESS EXPLAINED

-Your Adjuster will review the claim and will review the scope of damages including what may be ensuing. -The adjuster will notify your insurance company of the claim with a copy of your contract with us of our Letter of Representation. -Your claim is entered into our "Claim Wizard" which is a software program that keeps track of your claim and is  monitored on a regular basis. -An estimator is assigned to your claim to produce an estimate including conducting an investigation to find any additional damages. -Your Insurance company will assign their field adjuster to meet with us to inspect your property. -Once your estimate is reviewed, your Horizon adjuster will work out the differences to mutually agree on a settlement. We usually do not accept the first offer. We will continue to negotiate for a maximum settlement. -On rare occasions, representation by an attorney may be an option based on the insurances company response to a settlement. Florida statute provides payment to an attorney directly by the insurance company based on the difference of the settlement amount. If this is the necessary action, we will provide additional information.
